Title says it all. Acts like its not getting fuel, but has 3/4 tank. No check engine light, no codes. 2003 E320 W211
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Car stuck in parking lot.
Not sure if related, but fueling car very difficult to refuel as fuel backs up and cuts off pump. I understand this is due to charcoal canister and fuel vapor being captured.

Generally speaking on cars as a whole, that's usually either factory security shutting it down because it's not sensing a key chip OR mass air flow sensor malfunction.
Have you done anything like replaced anything, or washed the engine bay or anything recently?

Yeah, hopefully it's the fuel filter, if not it sounds like there may be something jamming up the fuel lines beyond the filter.
After that, you'd need to check the injectors, etc. All things that would be difficult to do without it being in a shop. Did you have any luck?

Don't know yet get off work everything's closed. Off Friday looking a local shop right now. Did it again today in stop and go traffic. It will run fine hit the brakes rpms go kinda crazy skips like a bad spark plug and cut off. Jerk behind me almost hit me. Put it in "N" fires back up and runs fine. Its almost everyday now it happens. Wondering what I'm paying for car lot bought it from says "HUH". If my wife was driving it and that happened she would be hit. She wouldn't know what to do. I'm thinking mines a mix of roughs trans shifting and something else. Don't know if its 2 different problems or one problem. Trying that "relearn" transmission thing found on a site in the morning. Maybe can rule out one problem. I just don't know.

It's surging then stalling when you press the brakes?
Could be an electrical short somewhere, but I'd start by having them do a voltage check on your batteries/alternator if that's the case.

On older cars I've seen bad ground from the battery to chassis or battery to motor cause those symptoms. That also means, a loose or corroded connection at the battery could cause the same.
