Cigarette Lighter/Power Outlet LIGHT
The light around my cigarette lighter seems to be intermittent and only comes on when I wiggle the cigarette lighter.
Anyone have any instructions as to how to take this apart and get to the back of the light strip around the lighter/back of the power outlet to see how to possibly fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Seems like LOTS of trouble to get to the bulb, this may just stay as is with the NON ILLUMINATED feature.

The bulb went out in our clk320 w209. It was a royal pita to replace the bulb. Not so much hard, just time consuming due to the lack of room to get your fingers in and getting the bulb to click back in. I'd say it took me a solid hour and that was just trying to get the cig adaptor out of the ashtray. The way they had it locked in was completely dumb. Why they didn't use an LED is mind boggling on certain things.

I do not smoke and therefore do not use it as an ashtray, rather as a storage compartment and most of the time the lid is shut and the compartment closed anyhow.

Completely understand. I'm past the point of OCD from what my wife tells me so even knowing that a light should be on when it isn't would drive me mad and fix it. But looking back the amount of effort for such a tiny light that you only see when it's opened is a very valid point!
