E550 Coupe New Side Mirrors

I felt cheated by Mercedes. At the autoshow, the E550 Coupe 2010 MODEL (same as mine) has different side mirrors. These new side mirrors are the same ones as the newly redesigned E convertible. I can't believe MB made a switch like this mid year. Now my car is old after only 4 months. What's more annoying is that the MB reps (just sales people from local dealers) at the autoshow acted like they didn't believe what I said and kept assuring me that I was mistaken.

It might have been an error, due to the fact it was a show car and not production. You would think the cabriolet would get the same aero mirrors as the coupe, not the other way around.

Don't worry about it. The rounded/smoothed side-mirrors on your Coupe are far nicer and more exclusive to the car than the generic box shape ones you see on that Convertible, which are M-B's standard corporate mirrors now, with seemingly identical copies on about every model.
