Congrats. I agree, the best Benz color combination. It looks like all E550 are equally equipped now.

I had absolutely no issues with the W211, she drove like a dream.
Yes the W212 has park assist, an option that I didn’t want so the cost was deducted from the sale price. I drove it home and completed my first mod.

The trade was $46k, 8.5k miles, P2 pkg, Panoroof, no other options. I think that was a fair trade. They dont have to do much to sell it as CPO so I would think the most they would try to sell it for is $50k.

Nice pics of both together. Love the W212's styling, but the W211 holds up damn nicely.

It certainly does. I think I prefer my W211 AMG wheels Vs the W212.

Agreed! The '09 AMG Pack wheels are one of my favorite wheels out there, much nicer than the AMG wheels on the W212's IMO, especially the '10 6-Spokes.

Thanks for the pictures of the two next to each other. Love seeing them side by side. A well equipped/Packaged W211 still makes me stare in awe.

I spoke with both along with a few NJ dealers. It was Ft Washington got found a Black on Black E550 w/o 4matic first.

The sidemarkers make such a difference on the W212. The yellow maker just seemed to blend in more in the W211. On the W212 they seem almost like an afterthought. (which they are for the US market)

Got 'em done by the same Tint Shop/Sticker Shop that did my Tails. I didn't wanna go through the hassle of ordering and installing new pieces, and figured it might save a few bucks, so I had them Tint them.... Actually, on this car I said I want no orange light showing at all, so they used the same vinyl wrap they use to "wrap" cars with. Looks great, and at night when the orange light is on, you can barely see it glowing from the edges/where the wrap ends. Highly recommended!

Agreed, the 212's orange side markers look like hideous eye sores, the W211's were way better integrated.
