Chrome Door Handle Inserts?

How hard are they to install and anyone know where you can order?

Part #2127200040 list for $85 (for comparison shopping, parts.com $63.25) check with dealer parts as they may match or better. Simple install, sticky pad on the back you just have to clean your door handle area with included alcohol cloth.

I asked the dealer if they had any on the lot I could see on a car, so we walked around a while trying to find one......the only one I saw was on an
older cls550(in for repairs), they were worn and not cared for very well.....but were still clinging! but that was enough for me to opt out......just my .45 cents

Yeah..anything that is 'stick on' is probably not very nice. Thanks! Wish the car had the handles with the chrome strip along the top.

You can buy the chrome applique separately (as found on cars with KEYLESS GO). Check eBay. They look much better than the tacky handle cups.

Thanks. Is the chrome applique the strip that is on top of the door handle?

I'm pretty certain the chrome handles on the Keyless Go cars (and about every other Benz Sedan before M-B put the horribly cheap looking monochromatic handles on non P2 W212's) are designed into the handle. They don't appear to be a stuck on application at all.
