Good choice. Subjective choices or prejudices aside, the Sedan is more, and a better car than the Coupe. You get more for your money.

Yeah, the stalk shifter takes some getting used to, but on a Luxury Sedan, I've found myself to really find it appropriate/unique and I really dig it. On a Coupe or Sports Car though, it's totally out of place.
I actually wrapped them in black vinyl gloss, and thanks! I really dig the outcome.

I ain't got a family and I got the Sedan. It's just the better looker/car all in all to me. The Coupe is nice but more visually feminine (not a derogatory thing, just depends on what kind of styling demeanor you're looking for) and being a safety nut, I like the feeling of "more car" around me.

I like the sedan as it rides on a larger, more refined platform than the Coupe. Only minor thing to add, if you order leather upholstery ($1620) you only get leather on the seats. I had MB change their website as it once stated that door inserts, rear map pockets, and armrests are leather. Kudos to MB's Customer Advocacy group who handled this issue for me when I discovered that the leather option that I had ordered was limited to the seats and headrests only.

nope. no family. i just liked the overall look of the sedan just seems a lot meaner looking i like that with that front grill. there are a few things i like more on the coupe of course one being that shifter the other being those pillerless windows
anyways i got it down to a white E350 with black interior AMG styling package the premium package and the upgraded steering wheel. now to wait for three months... |

does the 2012 sedans come with the contrast white stitching against the black interior? The E coupe had that from 2010 and I really wish my car had that, just wondering if they upgraded the E interior any for 2012

Your cars going to look awesome, good luck with it. I think the white looks great on these cars, check out KA'S and Park423's. Definitely get the pano roof, looks awesome on the white car. I think black interrior would look great, especially with smoked windows. The side markers can be bought on ebay already black lenses for about $58.00, just ordered some,, in case you didn't want to wrap them. The lenses come with new bulbs also for the dark lense.

Side black marker light, ebay item # 120785224395, $58.95. As for the exhaust, I think most guys leave them stock or just remove the resonaters. Maybe someone else can chime in with some info.

I just took it to a wrap/tint shop and they did it. It's really easy though, and you can do it yourself. Get some black wrap film (cheap for a small amount), and just stick it on and cut it around the edges. Taking it to a shop shouldn't cost more than $20-$30.
As for the exhaust, I'd recommend against it on a V6 (I'm a V8 sound guy though). The current 3.5L sounds really good for a 6, and I'm sure the new one will, but IMO they will sound a little too small displacement "buzzy" than the mean gurgly V8 that sounds like this car looks.

Because for one, it's a true "E" Class while the Coupe is based off of the C-Class. The chassis like said is a little more refined, more luxury oriented, the interior is a whole league or 4 ahead, more wood, ambient lights, refinement, and of course in a utility sense (whether you use it for that or not) it's much better. It's less "sporty", but the Coupes aren't incredibly sporty themselves (they still lean toward the luxury side).
On top of all that, the Sedan will be an overall safer car as well. The Coupe has its perks too, but there's a reason that the Sedan sells probably like 10-1 (more bang for the buck/utility, etc.).

For me the Sedan was the only choice ... I had a coupe for years and the extra long front doors were always knocking into something and the hassle of moving the seats for my passengers was a drag. I also find the sedan rear seats WAY more comfortable than the Coupe's.

Agreed. The W212 Sedan has my favorite front end. It's got a modern take on that super confident, mean "Boss" classic Benz face.

SimranD:
I curious though, I looked at your bio and it shows you are 20 years old? If this is right, good for you to be able to buy a car like this. Toban |
