This is a super concept and I'm really excited for this iteration of the E-class.
You get to a point with power where just putting it down to the ground becomes difficult. Better to just take weight off and let the car's performance grow in that way. The future looks light! |

Ah I'll have to wait until the safey test come out regarding the carbon fiber. Gullwinged E, perhaps a coupe maybe but no sedan. I'll pass on the sliding door as well.

meh....
As a corvette owner, i've seen this scenairo. GM came out with CF version and promptly doubled the price (other mods as well, especially engine were also included..it's the ZR-1) Chances are, it will not be part of a standard E-Class and the pricing will make it out of reach for most owners. If not out of reach, out of consideration. Sports cars, yes....4-door sedans, not so much. |

Now they just need to release a CF structure retrofit kit for the W211
|
