This is a super concept and I'm really excited for this iteration of the E-class.
You get to a point with power where just putting it down to the ground becomes difficult. Better to just take weight off and let the car's performance grow in that way.

As a corvette owner, i've seen this scenairo. GM came out with CF version and promptly doubled the price (other mods as well, especially engine were also included..it's the ZR-1)
Chances are, it will not be part of a standard E-Class and the pricing will make it out of reach for most owners. If not out of reach, out of consideration.
Sports cars, yes....4-door sedans, not so much.
