Dead Battery 5 times in the last year after sitting overnight

I have a problem with my 2011 E350 4matic which I think might be related to the keyless feature ... it happened originally when the car was 2 months old, for some reason after sitting a few days the battery would die ... this happened twice within a couple of weeks.

Fast forward to 8 months old and my wife had parked the car in a parking lot, she came back and the door wouldn't open with the keyless (I've had this happen on a number of occasions as well) but when she finally got the car open the radio was on ... she pushed the start button which did nothing ... finally after 4 or 5 pushes the car started.

Fast forward to 10 months, the car parked for a few days in my driveway and the battery is dead ... it happens one time after the other I am thinking after I jumped it I didn't let it run long enough to recharge it.

Now at 11 months old again this morning it happens ... battery dead and needs a jump.

Th only thing that has occurred on each time is I checked the car to make sure it was locked by using the remote which I do before bedtime.

Also on occasion I get into the car and the radio is on and this is after I am positive the car was off completely the night before.

Yes I know I need to bring it in which I will do next month for it's first service but I am wondering if anyone else had this happen ...

BTW the car has about 5000 to 6000 miles on it.

Sounds like somehow your remote is turning on radio when it should not. If that is case, it will drain battery.
Remote is contstantly sending signal to your car running battery down when you are near car.

Just a thought--storing the remote near the car might be causing a constant drain on battery (just like leaving an interior light on would do).

Thanks for the suggestions ... I am starting to think when I use the remote to lock the car it is somehow turning the radio on ... I beleive when I touch the door to lock it this doesn't happen ...

The remote is not kept near the car when it is parked so I do not beleive that is the problem.

Anyway the car is a year old in a few weeks so when I bring it in for the first sevice I'll ask them to try to figure it out.
