Picked up a E350 - First impressions
We we swapped the wife's E350C (2011) with a 2014 E350 Sport pack 4-door the other night. Great deal at over 10k off msrp ...
I really wasn't expecting much since she was already driving the E350C (which I hated btw).
I'm very pleasantly surprised.
- The new body looks amazing. We got it in white with the spoiler and the sports pack and it's IMO the best looking W21x to date.
- The car has a lot more power than I expected. It has a ton of pick up
- The stereo seems to have gotten a pretty good upgrade (might be just my ears)
- I like the update to the new Comand system
- Rear view cam is also a ton better
- The cabin is a lot quieter than my old W211 which is nice
- The trunk folding box is pretty cool. Kinda gimmicky but cool.
- Gets a bit to get used to the new shifter position but I like it. The Eco mode is pretty well implemented (is there a way to turn it off for good though?)
Question:
- How do you turn of ESP on this car? I don't see a button
- Is the mbrace thing a separate fee?
Overall, I'm really happy with the car so far. Pix tomorrow.

ESP can be turned off in the Driver Assistance Menu via the steering wheel buttons and the cluster display menu system.
MBrace has different levels of service for different prices. It is overpriced and rather useless. I just posted a YouTube review of the App feature which is horribly slow.

Shifter position? I do not think it was changed, but turn signal lever got up to give more access to cruise control knob. It is kind of inconvenient at first but then you realize that they wanted to get distronic easier manipulated.
