2017 E400 Wagon Black/Black MB Tex P1 & Sport Wheel Package
GOOD DEAL ON A 2016 E400W?

We are looking at a 2016 E400W sedan CPO 1-owner with 33000 miles that just came off lease.

Anything anyone does not like about this car?

It has the Lighting Package, Keyless Go, Lane Tracking, Parking Assist , Illuminated Door Sills, Wheel Locking Bolts, Rear Deck Spoiler & 3 spoke sport steering wheel and original msrp was $69,115.

I think I can get it for about $39,500.

Is that a good price?

I never know if KBB etc are really viable to use to negotiate.

If we move on it, will have to decide whether to trade in our 2013 E320 wagon with 36,000 miles & about to run out of MB warranty (already did the extra 2 years) or our 2016 Subatu Outback that only has 17,000 miles and a 10 year/100,000 Subaru extended warranty.

My husband is driving the Outback after his GLK was totaled 3 years ago.

He likes the car ok but the dealership & service is less than optimal.

But the Outback is newer, less miles, warranty & far more safety features.

But we love the elegance of our wagon.

Tough call as I'd love to keep them both but need $ for trade-in on the E400.

Any thoughts or guidance.

Thanks in advance.

I would look for one with DISTRONIC Steering+
which comes with drivers package....

2014 E550-sold 😩
What is the "W" designation mean? E400W.
Price sounds high to me. I bought my 2014 E550 TTV8 for less than that at 3 years old and an original MSRP of $79,500 and loaded with every option.
I could not live without Distronic+ as ygmn says.

2017 E400 Wagon Black/Black MB Tex P1 & Sport Wheel Package
Thanks - there are so many new features that I do not have on my 2013 wagon that I had to look the distronic steering up. There are very few E400 CPO's in my area and I do not see one with this. Something to consider though.

we have bought cars there but you can’t get additional extended warranty from MB as they are the 2nd owner when they buy cars coming off Jesse and right now MBCC is doing 1.99% financing but it’s worth checking them out. Thanks.

E400s are commanding a price premium these days. Only a few dozen 4matic 400s in the entire country for sale for the past 3-4 months (I check every day).

You can find CPO versions for about that price or a little less currently as that's not a highly optioned model. Finding one with parktronic is much harder, and one with parktronic AND distronic is basically impossible.
