AUX video on W212

Please help, i've looked around the forum and could not find a solution to this...

I have 2010 W212 with factory navi/dvd changer. I wanted to be able to get video in motion (please don't judge me, i've had it in all my cars for the last 10 yrs and have not caused or been in a wreck).

I purchased the mid city engineering plug and play that allows me to watch video in motion from the dvd changer and this works fine.

However, I would also like video from my Gen 6 ipod Classic to display on the factory navigation screen. So i purchased the Media Interface Plus and the appropriate cable for ipod video. The MIP works for ipod audio and pandora streaming however no video is shown on the screen.

I've followed the instructions on how to get the video to display on the command screen but no luck. I even went into the comand engineer menu and enabled "Aux Video" in the HU section but still nothing

When I click the video menu it just takes me straight to play a DVD.
There isn't a hyphen where it says VIDEO to indicate that there are other selections in that menu or sub options (the same as the audio) menu.

So my question is... How do i get the Aux sub menu on my command Video menu like in the picture below. Please help.

Hmm... my 2015 E has that option right from the factory, motion-limited of course. I think the OP's issue is that their version of COMAND is too old to support this option.
