DIY Front Brake Rotors and Pads available?
Does anyone have a DIY for the E550 brake job? Full set of instructions would be nice but the torque values alone would suffice.

did you attempt this ?
what was the "Nm 115"
i thought you were talking about metric socket sizes till i saw the 115.
I am going to do these front and possably rear pads on a 2010 E550 4Matic. i just wanted to know if i need any special tools or can it be done with regular soclets, wrenches ect ? I have done plenty of Brakes in my day just never a late model 4matic benz. thanks

He is talking about the torque spec. How much torque to apply to those bolts to tighten them. over tightening can damage it.

You will 18mm nut to take the caliper off. Otherwise, you don't need special tools to remove the front pads. For the rears, you will Torx-40 to remove the rear caliper to get to the pads. Did mine last week. It was straight forward.

if rotors too, why? You have excessive miles on the car?
Pad change is super easy in the front. Just punch out the two pins.
