I lease my ML350 and got prepaid maintenance and tire/wheel coverage. The F&I manager told me at the time I leased the car that it was good to have for when I turn the car back in, as it did cover curb rash and any other damage to a wheel. As far as tires, it covers road hazard as long as there is 2/32" or more of tread at the lowest tread level on the tire. I've had 4 tires replaced free of charge and one wheel replaced in the 42,000 miles I've had the vehicle. Well worth it to me.
