Confirm that the E250 get excellent mileage? Sure. Even when going fast? ayup

There are a number of discussions in this form about this.

That's nice to hear. Sat on one at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed. The 2012 E550 coupe loaner I got a few months back still lingers on my peanut brain on what to get next after the c-class but this might change my mind set.

The big challenge the automakers have in the US is that diesel fuel costs more than premium in most places (in europe it's cheaper than regular). So while the mileage is excellent, the cost per mile isn't a huge improvement.

Now lets talk about range! But most people don't care about that ;-)

I am working in China and just bought a E250 CGI, there's no diesel models here because the quality of the diesel fuel is crap and runs the risk of damaging the engines.
