HID Questions
Hey guys! I have been out of the HID game for a while. I had some Xentec HIDs on my Lexus GX460, but more recently had factory Xenons on my 5 series. Well, last week I bought a 2011 Bluetec Sport with halogens! So, once again I am back in the HID game.
So, here is my question: When I had HID retrofit kits in the past they would often burn through bulbs, flicker, etc. In some cases even with the extra protective harnsess'. Is this still an issue of the kits of today? I want to put in HIDs, but will pass if I still have to deal with burning out bulbs every couple of months, etc. I'm not a college kid with a Civic anymore! Lol.
Any feedback and brand recomendations would be much appreciated! So, far it sounds like morimoto?

Well, he's not asking of what to buy and the requirements. He's asking if anybody has experience with replacing them after a short amount of time.
I literally just bought these after doing a bunch of research :

Oh man Xentec kits are a joke lol. I had them installed once and after about 2 hours of use, both sides blew out within 30 minutes of each other. Gave them a bad review and they immediately gave me a full refund without having to return product and no questions asked. They know their stuffs are subpar.
