Question How are E350/E250 Deals right now?

Wondering how people were doing with lease deals on E350's and E250's? With August only a few days away, wondering how feasible it is to move from my 2013 E350 to a 2014 350/250. I assume the 2015's are on the way soon.

Not sure how you could fare well economically moving from a 2013 to a 2014, especially if the 2013 was leased.

e250 is not known to many people yet but once they know about how good it is it will be a hit? It is does not feel like 4 bangger, noisy like 4, question about power. The car is like E350 BlueTec giving 45 miles to a gallon high way mileage. You get a chance try to drive one.

Nothing to write home about.

With just $3500 of Summer Cert and reduced residuals, "deals" are nowhere near as good as typical Q4-13 to Q1-14. Hold out until October if you can.

Thanks for the advice!!! Noticed dealers are advertising 4-months pull-forward right now.

Perfect for those who has 27 month lease.
- Get a new car at 24th month so you don't need to pay 3rd year registration

'14 E350
Just got a new '14 E350 in the family, purchased not leased. We found that a lot of dealers in SoCal are willing to come down $7-$10k from MSRP, as they make room for '15s if you are willing to buy. Made the decision to go new instead of getting a '13 CPO after discovering this. Also saw the 4-month pull lease deals offered. Good luck!

E 250 discount

$12,000 off MSRP in Philly area for leftover 2014's - if you can find one.

Last day of month/quarter still good

Recently purchased a Nissan Rogue and actually did the deal on the last day of month. Salesman met my price over the phone to include what I wanted for my trade-in sight unseen. Saved $1,000 above next lowest of the other five Nissan dealers in area.
Of course had been talking with all five for two weeks.

Timing

It's about the timing of doing a deal. Dealerships and sales reps. are much more eager to cut a deal on last day of month/quarter in order to get their totals up. Also may help if manufacturer is trying to get more sales to report for the month or quarter.

Yes, I agree "about the timing of doing a deal" having some influence on the price paid. However, supply & demand for Nissan products is unrelated to Mercedes.

In the end, s & d is the most important factor that governs the final price. If MB floods the market with a particular product, you can bet that deals will reflect that fact. Here in Canada, MBC is much more careful to match the supply with demand than MBUSA, hence discounts here are not nearly as substantial as in America.

US dealers also rely most heavily on their used car and fixed operations (parts & service) for their profit. The return on new cars for MB dealers in the USA can be as low as 1%; luxury cars being such a competitive market !
