Windshield Washer Fluid Bottle - W212

Hi there,

I got some leakage when I fill my windshield washer bottle then a message to top out the windshield washer. I'm confused, I don't know where is the tank or how to replace it but the leakage goes under the front seat. Basically, from the tank itself.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help,

In my car the windshield washer fluid tank is at the very front left corner under the hood. It is absolutely impossible for the fluid from there to leak inside the car.

My car is a 2010 model so perhaps if your car is a newer than 2011 model the tank could be located in a different place. I think it still is located in the new models as it is in mine though so I don't understand what you are talking about...?

2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Usually the only thing that would leak through the firewall is a heater core. I may be wrong but I would suggest bringing it in to be checked out.

Windshield reservoir is pretty big , I remember posting a topic about it a while ago to extol it's size .
So, may be a stupid question but are you sure you are topping off sufficiently , it takes more than 3 liters to fill it up .Besides that your windshield reservoir sensor might go bad , I would like to rule out of the possibility of leak instead

It will also tell you to top it off if you use washer fluid with different electrical properties. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w212...-solution.html
