Rear speakers not working

Hi,

I have a E250 4Matic Saloon, and I have just noticed that my rear speakers under the window are not working.

I was thinking about if there is a fuse I can check for?
And are those active speakers that are in there?

regards Zaiby

Have you checked the command screen and made sure fade is not set to front?

If vehicle is equipped with premium sound (code 810) check f67 & f69 @ rear SAM if fine, try pulling in an attempt to reset. If this fails it would be best to have someone with MB diagnosis check for fault codes (warranty?) - quick/definitive answer.

It must be premium sound as it's not harman kardon or B&O

"try pulling in an attempt to reset"

What do you mean by that and how should I do that?

There is no warranty on the speakers, only on the comand unit itself as it has been replaced recently before the warranty expired on car. But I didn't check before or after if all speakers were working or not.

Before pulling fuses, etc. have the shop that replaced COMAND unit revisit to assure system including all speakers are working properly.

It was at a Mercedes workshop, and they won't just check the system for free of charge had a chat with them today. If it's their fault then it'll be free else I'll have to pay for the hours the use on the car.

So that's why I want to see if I can do something myself before handing it over to them.
