E250CDI ( W212) or CLS320CDI (W219)
Hello everybody,
i am new to a forum, I am 24 years old and I am from Europe. These days I am buying my first Mercedes , and I am in very difficult situation because I don't know what to buy:
- E250CDI ( W212 ) 2009 or CLS320CDI ( W219 ) 2008
I never tried the E class (W212), and I tried the CLS. Can anyone tell me is EClass(W212) more comfortable than CLS(W219)?
Based on pictures I can tell that E is much more spacious, has more comfortable seats, much more space on the back. I assume engine is much more quiet than CLS. Advantage of E is that it is newer model then cls and better gas consumption, but damn-i love that CLS look, wherever I appear people are looking at me. Also, advantage of CLS is airmatic which does not come in EClass. I am dissapointed because 320CDI in CLS is loud compared to same engine in SClass which you can not hear at all.
Can I please get your suggestion, what to buy, after the styling, comfort is most important, will E without airmatic be more comfortable then CLS with airmatic ?
Thanks

The only thing I will comment on is airmatic. Just be sure you understand that a car with the airmatic system is much, much more complex than a car without so, if anything goes wrong with the system it will require money to fix it.
Nothing ever goes wrong with good old fashioned coil springs.
You will have to drive the two cars so you can decide which one rides better.
