removal of rear center head rest 2013 e 350

I would like to remove the rear center headrest on my 2013 e 350. The right and left ones come out with no problem but the center one looks to be permanently mounted calling for the interior of the seat back to be accessed to do so. This car is equipped with rear fold down seats. I see torx screws used on the edge of the armrest / pass thru frame but unsure if removing them is the answer. Also the frame extends down to the bottom of the back and a screw down there seems inaccessible as the other seat back blocks it. I looked at a 2013 C 300 today at the dealer that also has fold down seats and the middle head rear headrest has the release and can be easily removed just like the left and right ones. I fail to understand the reasoning of MB to design these same style seat assembles two different ways. Any advice on how to approach this is appreciated.
