Down the road a few years, having the 360 camera will likely make a MY2015 a more desirable CPO than a MY2016 !

Together with the deletion of the 360 camera + Palladium, 'Active Parking Assist' is also eliminated !

Unfortunately, it is true ! Streamliner has posted on this forum the MY2016 Dealer Ordering Guide from MBUSA, which confirms no 360 camera and no Active Parking Assist for 2016 E Class. February 2015 is the last month for availability of these options.

I talked to my salesperson who's helping a friend order a 16 E63 Wagon. We still don't see those option blocks.

I was just told by my dealer my 15 I ordered months ago will now be a 16.

I was looking forward to the 360 cam.

Anyone have build out documents with all the options for a 16 yet?

I irdered a 2016 E63S sedan last week. At least on that model (sedan and wagon), the following option was available and ordered.

995 AMG Surround View Camera Package $800
P44: Parking Package (RVC & Parktronic)

On Feb 18th, we ordered a new 2016 E350 Sedan. The dealer did a trade for an open slot with another dealer and we received a copy of the factory order printout showing that it has the 996 Parking Assist Pkg. with the Surround View Camera. We have been told that the car was built on March 10th, is currently on the water and we should have it about the third week of April. If you have read some of my other threads, I talked about how this dealer botched our 2015 special order--a car we did not take, so this order has been tripe checked. I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath.

i spoke with a dealer yesterday. he didn't seem to have any indication that 2016 e63s were being built yet nor did he have any idea when production would start. so i haven't submitted an order as a result. did your dealer give any indication if production has begun ?

I spoke with a local sales guy yesterday. He said to expect cars in showrooms in May, barring any import delays.

a new member, going crazy wondering when a w213 wagon will be available? also concerned about overall room based on reads that is will have less storage room.
lots of new toys & tech. but no V8. and current 350 sure isn't my E500

We had a new E500 Luxury Sedan with AirMatic in 2004. One of the best driving cars we have ever owned. In 2010, we traded for a new E350 Luxury Sedan, obviously without the V8 and AirMatic. We planned on going back to an E550 with AirMatic, but missed our chance, as we never thought MB would drop such a magnificent drivetrain in their bread & butter sedan. And, to make matters worse, the fantastic V8 was dropped from the line, so that a relative handful of folks can have AMG cars. If MB had scaled back the AMG line, they would have been able to meet CAFE standards with a V8 E Class still in the line, but they chose to reward the few to the loss of many. What a shame.

exactly my thoughts. love the ride even though I just replace rear air bags. so in your opinion go for 2015 / 2016 AMG? being in Michigan I need that much power like another gun.... or wait out to see what the 2017 will do with potential multiple choices in motors, starting with the straight 6. another problem I have been informed that the wagon will be a year later.

Your informant is correct. The W213 wagon will not be introduced for at least one full model year after the W213 sedan. In Canada, the W212 wagon is only available as an E400 4M or E63 AMG S Model 4M.

how does that work? the wagon in the states is only a E350 or E63 AMG S.
maybe I should go across the bridge? think Benz dropped the ball on the E Class.

thank you for the info. I believe I replied to myself... figures.. the states will only deliver the E350 wagon, maybe i should cross the bridge, get the E400 for several years. depending on the overall cubic of the new W213 i might have a keeper for those of us that appreciate the carry capacity of a wagon.

Maybe you should consider buying an E400 wagon in Canada ? The list price with Premium package is CD$80,700, which converts to US$63753. You could configure an E400 wagon by looking @ www.mercedes-benz.ca . You would have to figure out all of the export/import border issues and find a Canadian dealer who would sell it to you. You would also need to have the car delivered to a border crossing so you would not have to pay any Provincial ST or Federal GST.

By the way, there are no new E350 sedans or wagons offered any longer in Canada. E400 has replaced the E350.

Just got a call from my dealer. Our 2016 E400 will be on order by days end, just waiting for the quote. I went Selenite... Anticipated delivery by first week in June.

Congrats, and that is awfully fast. My order 3/17 for a E63S Sedan does not have an anticipated build date until 3rd decade of July.

I was surprised. They're the largest dealer in Boston so they must have a slot queued up. Anticipated build complete by 3rd decade in May. Not sure if the dealer left enough time for shipping, but I've been waiting since the fall so no problem if it's further out.

how crazy, I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2016 E350 wagon to be delivered in august, now to decide on leasing for three years or buying and selling after two. for me it's live moving residences.... now to sell the E500.
