I think I got a good deal

I just traded in my 2007 s550 with 63k miles on a new 2014 e350 4matic

Steel grey
Ac outlet
Sport steering wheel
Split rear seats
Pano roof
18" amg wheels
Spoiler
Comfort box
Premium 1
Keyless go

$63,950 Msrp

$21,500 for the s550 ( owed $18.8k )

27 mo lease / 1k miles per month / $595 month ( tax included ) / $0 out of pocket

Did I get a decent deal ?

Nick

Your deal was "decent". There are nice incentives on the few remaining 2014s.

Most important is that you feel good.

Best of luck with your new E.

I think we call this winning seeing how the resale value you alone is enough to match the price of the older S-CLASS. You did yourself a solid with that transaction because it's only a matter of time before the repair depands start popping up for the 07'

Sounds good to me. A little better than the deal I got on a similar MSRP car in November, but I suspect the tax rate is higher where I live. Those of us who don't live in California don't find the insane giveaway deals so easy.

The main thing is that you feel good about the deal. If you do then it does not matter what other people think. I think it was a good deal Enjoy the car you will like it.

Appreciate the warm welcome everyone. Two questions:

1. Where do you guys keep the owners manual ?

2. Do you think it's worth keeping mbrace for the Mercedes Benz apps ?

Thanks,

Nick

I keep the owners manual in my glove compartment just incase I need to reference back to something or check out some options. Believe it or not the owners manual has come in handy a few times.

And mbrace is a super cool feature to have access to so if you plan on traveling alot in your Benz I would advise keeping the service. You may want to take a look at doing the Mercedes Benz Smart Start upgrade that links up to your smart phone... thats also super cool.

I think most here, including me, have found the MB apps so ponderously slow as to be useless.

Mbrace may be worth it to you for its safety and convenience (such as being able to send addresses to the NAVI from computer/phone), but not for the internet apps.

Regards,
Don

Congratulations on your new car. Enjoy your free M'brace subscription for 3-6 months and try out all the features. I'm reasonably sure that you will not use the MB apps for more than a handful times. The regular M'brace on the other hand is an awesome feature including send to Benz.
If you are not planning to continue the subscription please make sure to call and cancel before the expiration of free time period. Otherwise they will automatically continue the plan.
