BLACK WOOD FOR BURL WALNUT w212

hello all..about to pull the trigger on a 2010 E550 sedan which has the black wood or piano wood trim (in really good condition)..and would like to know if anyone would be interested in trading their dark burl walnut...I personally love the dark burl walnut on this platform over the black piano but i know a lot of guys love the black wood...so with that said i would prefer it to be from a 2012+ model since the early dark burl walnut kits had some fading problems but if you had yours replaced by the dealer I wouldn't mind that either...i just don't want the faded wood...thanks in advance for any replies!!!

I for one agree. Black piano lacquer wood is damn classy; Depending on ext/seat colors. Ive called in the dealer and asked how much for the job to buy/switch on the piano lacquer and it was multiple gs. =D so keep that in mind. Burl walnut replacement after warranty is not that much. It is a designo option i believe, on most models. Quite awesome.

I however am a calamity with my panels... THose are even harder to keep clean and not scratch so id be better off keeping my burl. Burl walnut is classy when it holds up. My Cs is flawless but my E has dimming panels now... might ask for it on factory warranty repair before it runs out

Some of the new trim theyre releasing is hideous. my dads c300 he just leased is the... new black/white multi color one and it feels like primer and a thin coat of matte black with scratchy faux italian splotches everywhere.

Not awesome. I want to look up the proper name for that int trim so people can be wary of its sadness.
