I just purchased a 2013 CPO E350 and was wondering if I'm supposed to get a copy of the services that were performed to certify this vehicle. For example the on board computer states a service "A" is due in 230 days. This leads me to believe that the "A" service has not been done for 135 days.

they probably did the service before they put it on the lot. You can ask for a print out of the Vehicle Master Inquiry which will give you all the data for service in their system.

They didnt have it on their lot for 4 months. They may have not reset the reminder, but I'm thinking they didnt do the reqired CPO service. I'll have to investigate further. Perhaps they dont do service if the reminder doesnt come on. I thought the salesman stated I'm good for another year, so I'm cornfused.

When I was looking at CPO a couple of years ago, I was told they only do the A/B service during the CPO if it's within 3 months or 2k miles of needing the service.

So maybe they did the CPO work shortly after the previous B service was done, so it wasn't necessary as part of CPO.

You can ask for a copy of the CPO checklist. That contains all the items checked/condition/repaired/replaced.

Actually, they are supposed to give you a copy if they sold you as CPO.

Official MB CPO checklist states the following "Service according to maintenance schedule OR Service if within 5000 miles or 6 months of scheduled maintenance OR If no recorded history by MB dealer then perform services including filters and fluid". MY car called for a B1 service 3 months after I bought it, so I got a B1 service FOC.

Mine had an 'A' due (due to time elapsed) - they did it at their own cost.
