Looking for OEM European front plate holder!!!

Just got a new to me 212 and it had a uS front plate holder on it. I live in Pa and we don't have front plates so now there are ugly holes in my bumper and I'd like a OEM European plate bracket for my car. Anyone know where I can buy one? Mbusa used to sell them but apparently don't anymore. I need it to be OEM because of the pointed bumper. I'd buy one from you if you have one to sell. Thanks for the help!

Try removing the plate holder and if the finish underneath still looks good, maybe just look for plastic caps to plug the holes? Hoping your car is black. Just a thought.

It's not black, it's indium grey. Unfortunately there are 5 holes under the plate holder so 5 plugs are out of the question. Had it been just two holes I would have gone with the plugs. I was bummed to see so many holes when I took the U.S. Holder off.

Can you post a representative picture of the plate holder you are trying to procure?

Thanks DJ. They definitely seem more wider and sleek. I'm wondering how will the OP be able to use those as the plates are only given by the DMV office in any US state and they wouldn't issue European plates. ???

Man,

I had a plate holder and under it 2 holes and two scored spots where the too long screws for the plate had gone thru the paint.

I drilled all 4 spots to 1/8" size and got me 4 plugs from hardware store and touch up paint from the dealer. These plugs look WAY BETTER than any kind of a plate holder.

Do what I did first. You will not be disappointed. You can always get the European plate holder later if you want.

If the 5th hole is not symmetrically located drill a 6th hole to make it symmetric.

UPDATE! I have a part number thanks to Will at World Impex. He got the number but cannot locate the part. His European connection is moving at a snails pace. If any of you parts wizards can find it for me the part number is A2128170278

Thanks for the help guys!

The plate brackets are upwards of $100. For around $150 you can likely find someone to fill the holes and spot repair the bumper to as-new condition.

It was a used auto parts seller and he only had one listed. You might be able to contact him and see if he can get you one.
