For E-Class enthusiasts, just spoke to MBUSA and Business Development at FLetcher Jones, and was informed the new E-Class 2017 is expected to arrive Late 2016 - Early 2017 given it will be completely redesigned.

Are you sure about that? That sounds later than I expected. I thought that it was going to be introduced at the 2016 NAIAS and be available for sale mid 2016. Would like to know for sure as I am holding off buying a W212 until the W213 comes out. If is that late I will need to adjust my strategy because I don't want to continue to drive my current car that long.

i was interested in getting a 2014-15 but concerned of how much value the car would lose next year due to the new model coming out even though it just got a face lift.
but every 2 years something new comes into play it seems w/ all merc, trans, engine, or face lift. always got to keep chasing every 2 years

If you lease it it doesn't matter and if you buy and drive it for 7 - 10 years it also doesn't matter. Only if you buy and change every few years.
