2011 4matic on 20s

Hey just wanted to share some pics of mines. 2011 obsidian black e-350 4matic 35% tint on all windows. 20x9 et42 wheels in front 235/35 tires. 20x10 et43 in rear with 275/30 tires. Wheels are a 3 piece wheel by Maya. That I purchased from the forum. I also did an
audio sub install with custom trim panels. Debadged rear deck lid and removed lower door trims.

Thank you. It is stock height but it's a sport.

im assuming youre in the states. here in Australia, we have Avantgarde and Elegance variants. is this the same as Sport and Luxury respectively from your end? or are those totally not related?

just wanna have an idea coz I have an Avant and 20's are on the way and im still on the fence if I need to lower or not. If Avant and Sport have the same height. I reckon Ill be happy if i came up with the same stance as yours. cheers mate!

I am in the states and I'm totally unsure of how over seas models are named in respect to the U.S. "Sport" & "Luxury" trims. Your reasoning did sound very convincing tho. I guess you could maybe tell by the front cross drilled rotors being on a "Sport". Which model has those over seas? That model I assume would be the 1 with the lower suspension?

Wheel offsets look a bit weak, but they look good. The sub box looks a bit small. Does it produce a good amount of low end? The install is super clean! Looks great and the trunk space that is left is lovely.

Here in the states, the Sport is a bit lower I believe. It's a different suspension altogether. They call it the "Comfort Suspension". Unless that's also used on the Luxury. But it looks lower to me.

Yeah in retro speck I would have liked a more aggressive look as far as lip sizes but the fitment is great. These are my hold me down wheels until I get my other set made. The box is made to subwoofer specs and it's a sealed box made with birch wood. Still in break in process so I haven't pushed it much but it gets low. The trim panel hides the box which is made to fit into that hump in the back of trunk. Spare tire is totally still accessible.

I think youre right mate, although somebody please correct me if im wrong, down here, early 212s only came with Avant and Elegance variants. (or so I think). so im wondering if the sport there is the counterpart of our avant here and your luxury to our elegance? no biggie im just curious.

Yeah, looks like the Avant is the exact same as our sport: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-car...01506044048649

Forgot about this thread. Forgot to mention that in my research, the E350 Sport was offered with two suspensions, Comfort and Sport. Mine has the Comfort suspension, but there was another member selling his and his MSRP listed the Sport suspension. The same is true for the C Class as well.

Thanks I'm running 1000 watts to the subs I'm using a rockford fosgate t1000-1bdcp. And I'm using an audio control L2Ci to interface with The factory radio.

How's the sound quality with the L2Ci? So you kept your HK system stock?

Any trunk vibration?

Sound with L2Ci is quite exceptional it's taking a little bit of fine tuning to get it right though. I did keep the stock HK system just added the subs.

There is some slight trunk vibration at high volumes.

Looks great! Any issues with the staggered set up on the 4-matic? How does it ride compared to stock?

Thanks. No issues with 4 Matic from what I can tell. It is a little bit harsher from stock but nothing unbearable. Well worthy of the trade off
