Water running in trunk?
This is interesting. It rained here a couple of days. When I opened my trunk to a certain level, water was coming through 1 of the holes in the trunk. When I looked closely, one of those plastic plug things is missing from that hole. The water seems to only come through the hole when the trunk lid is lifted upwards. Otherwise, it seems the carpet inside wasn't wet. That's what I think anyway.
The obvious thing is to buy the missing plastic "plug" or whatever you call it. It's those plastic thingies you need to remove when taking apart the interior lining. I called the dealer and he said its a buck or 2 for 1 "plug" but he doesn't have them in stock. I'll try to find them online.
In any event, I wonder if it is still normal for water to pour out of that hole in the trunk. And, by me plugging that hole, will water be somewhere inside of my trunk somewhere? Weird.

I'm having a hard time understanding where these holes are in the trunk you speak of. Are they the ones along each side in the black area, that currently have plugs?

Sorry for not being so clear. I just went out and took a look again. It's the 2 holes in the plastic part underneath the trunk lid. So, KEY I think it's the ones you speak of and Konigstiger, I believe it's #5 (clip) on the diagram you sent. The left clip/plug is missing from the hole.
KingDaddy, yes I believe the water came through the hole when I lifted the trunk lid high to put my bag in the trunk.

Yeah, you need to order one of those. I have never heard of those going missing. Place some duct tape over the hole until you get the replacement.

But, is it normal that water is finding its way through that hole somehow? I'm worried that if I plug that hole, water will be trapped in my trunk lid lining somehow..
Any idea where to find these plugs online? I searched and searched and cannot find the exact ones..

Looks like part # 00099147959051 (black). If it were me, I would check to see if water is somehow getting in lid, only way to do this is to remove panel as mentioned before.

I'm getting water leaking through as well, right side black clip is where it pours in, but I took the bottom plastic (where the power trunk close/lock buttons located) and I don't see any reason where this is getting in water and what is causing it to leak.
