When I turn my exterior light knob all the way to the right and pull it out once and then a second time, the light you see on the left illuminates.

The right one does not illuminate. Blown bulb? If so, how to replace? This part of the light follows the trunk lid when you pull it up. What's the purpose of this light?

The exterior light knob is very confusing to me with all the the turns to the left and pulling, etc - lol. Thanks for any help.

It explains it in your manual but I had the same question about a bulb being out. It isn't a light out at all it is a light that is supposed to be used for severe rain and fog so that the vehicle behind you can see you. It's a safety feature would be my best explanation. So no light out on the right side just illuminates the left side.

Renntech is the name of the company that does tuning for Mercedes. If I'm not mistaken their one of the best if not the best.

What are the results from the tune? HP/torque gain?

I bet the car is amazing and scary fast lol.

Yes, the original owner of the car is from FL and he had the car tuned by RennTech. I called 'em and confirmed of course. The car has the ECU tune and changed out headers. RennTech estimates the HP to have increased by 20-30. It's not a drastic change, but this takes the car to over 400HP, and from what I'm told, the car feels more lively and "waken up" after being tuned. I haven't ever driven a non-tuned E550 before this, so I cannot compare the differences in driving. When the car was sold to me, he said it had 450HP, not sure if that's true or not.

On RIght Hand Car Drive cars the fog light is on the right. You should read that manual front to back.

It's a huge manual! I did print out what pages I thought I would need the most (i.e. basic operations), but man, this is the first time I have a car that has "new features" show up once a week. These cars are complex to say the least.

Every owner/operator should read the Operator's Manual and Comand Manual throughly and carefully as soon as they get the car.
I always take a notebook, red pen and yellow highlighter and then start reading and making notes. Answers a lot of questions and lets you know about a lot of features.

Re: the light, my understanding is that it is European requirement that all vehicles have a rear fog light. This is it.
