After Market Keyless Go Button
Hello Everyone,
I have a pre-owned 2010 MB/E-350 Sport Package, with the Key-less-Go feature, however, it does not have the Key-less-Go button. I would like to purchase one, however, the MB Stealer wants $60 for it Has anyone purchased an after market button from eBay or amazon and if you have did it work seamlessly Thanks

2014 E550-sold 😩
Or buy one of the $15 ones on Ebay with free shipping. The button is nothing but a button to push in. It has no electronics in it and is literally a hunk of plastic. As long as it fits properly into the key slot you are good to go (Keyless Go, that is!).

KEY08, thanks for responding and not to sound like an idiot or nit-wit, but, I was under the impression that the key-less go button was the button, plus an electronic piece that went into the ignition. I must have misunderstood, so all it is, is a button that goes over the ignition and you push it to start?

As long as your car has the Keyless Go option, you just insert this hunk of plastic and you are good to go. It stands off from the dash a few millimeters so you can grab it with your fingers and pull it out if you prefer to use the key instead of the button. If you do not have Keyless Go, this button will be good for nothing. Once again, the button has no electronics in it and there is no syncing going on when inserted or anything like that. It is only a button to allow you to push-to-start-stop. To pay $60 for this piece of plastic is insane.

wow thats a pricey button.
there used to be a guy on the C63 section selling the same for a quarter of that price. ive seen a few on ebay goin for $60 OEM. i just sold my extra a couple of weeks ago for $40 brand new unused. i painted mine orange to match the calipers. holding up pretty well.

msleadu...Make sure your car is equipped with the key-less Go feature, then, all you have to do is find it on ebay or amazon by using your car year and model. Order the part and once it comes remove it from the packaging and place it in your ignition, wait for about 30 seconds. the dash will illuminate, press the brake, push the button and the car should start seamlessly...
