Coming soon to my E550 BiTurbo

JBspeed Carbon Fiber Diffuser and E63 Tips for the exhaust I'm going with

the beast is currently at the dealer having the brakes looked at again. If they can't fix it I'm ripping out the factory rotors and going with Racing Brake rotors all around...

What size is the inlet of those tips? Just curious. I'm thinking about the same thing for my E550. I have Speedriven downpipe, and exhaust coming. Don't want too small of an inlet.

2.5" but I'm sure a good shop can do something if it's a 3" inlet needed. I have only seen the downpipes and exhaust on speed drivens instagram for the sl550 and the s63 coupe. I would love to see what your setup will look like. What tune are you going to go with?

I went with Speedriven tune. Ecu is flashed already, my exhaust comes in today. Hope I can get it installed today. Also bought the intercooler pump.

oh dang are you going with the 585hp kit? if so I can't wait to see pics of the exhaust and hear what it sounds like with downpipes! I have to see what that intercooler pump costs because alot of tuners say to upgrade or do something about cooling. Are you going to dyno right after?

That's the downpipes. Mufflers are a day or two behind.

Sorry for the confusion, gang! Deezbluballz (really? LOL!) has been beyond patient with his order, which has taken much longer than expected to get out. I'll be bribing him with Speedriven swag to stay happy.

so is this the 585hp kit? is the pump part of the kit or an add on? Can you elaborate on the need for the pump? I saw that AMS released something for cooling as well but not sure what it is since no answer from them as well yet.

Yes, I did the 585 kit. In regards to the pump....hit up Speedriven. Jo will do a better job at explaining it than I would. I added the pump to my order.
I'll try to shoot a video when I get the exhaust put on.
Here is a pic of the downpipe. Its built very well.

This is 495-505 WHP PKG, yes (585 is based on 15% driveline loss, which seems consistent with the stock pulls). The pump replaces the factory unit and pushes a higher volume of fluid through the intercooler, accelerating the recovery time of the car. So, if the car got heatsoaked after a few pulls and needs a minute on the stock pump to come down, with our pump that time would be cut to 20-30 seconds.
