2015 E350 Store Manager car with CPO pricing query
Hi,
First time posting on this forum. I am in the market for a E350 4Matic so was looking around locally and found the following car.
The local Mercedes Dealer has a Store Manager driven 2015 E350 4Matic with 12,420 Miles on it. It is Black on Black with Premium Package, Sport Package, Keyless-Go Package and Lane Tracking package, Rear Deck Spoiler and Comfort Box.
There price with CPO is $44K. Wanted to see opinion on price. KBB value looked to be close.
Also are there any additional warranties or plans that are recommended. researching on the forum, I see some have recommended wheel and tire package.
Thanks

when they tell you a car is being driven by the store manager, that means it's being use as a rental or a service loaner.
Stay away from it as far a possible.

My wife's leasing a 2014 C250 that was a service loaner for its first 8k miles. Not a single issue, no smells stains or tears, not even a creak or rattle in the past two years. She'll probably turn it back in and get a different car but service loaners are not bombs waiting to explode.
OP, if you're concerned about the quality of the vehicle get an independent inspection before you purchase from a master mechanic you trust. Sounds like a well-equipped E, my 2016 E350 is equipped similarly. I actually love the comfort box.

Actually, it's probably true since most dealerships give their managers a "demo" which is subsidized by the manufacturer. It the carfax report shows the car has been registered, then it's not a demo.

Thanks for all the advice. I did check with them to see if it was a loaner and they stated that all there loaners are C series and ML series which I saw quite a few on the lot.
The carfax report looked clean.

considering the new body style (2017) is coming out this month perhaps, 44k is way too much for that body style. You can get a 2014 with under 35k miles for around $27k-$30k.
