Isn't that the rear a/c vent? The good thing is you don't have to look at it every time you drive your car. Good luck.

YEA good idea , need to take it off and see if its doable , and it will turn out to be really cheap comparing to a new oem part. which is a 100 bucks lol

You should just completely strip the rest of the peeling surface off, since it is matte black underneath already, you don't really have to do anything else after that.

Plastidip would be an easy solution if you can newspaper and masking tape the hell out of everything around there.

That was one of my first thoughts , since its already black still , i could just peel the rest off , and i think it will look aite as is.

so finally got some time do fix this.... also wd40'ed parts inside there since i took it off ,
at first i thought ima strip the rest of it off , because it was peeling off pretty easy on top.. but once i got to the middle and bottom , the paint didnt come off easy at all... it actually barely was coming off.. so i was like f it... got a sanf paper..sanded it..and put some Plasti dip... i was surprised that it looked and felt exactly the same as the old paint.. kind of rubberish... but oh well. looks much better now. also thanks to wd 40 eliminated some squeaks from that area.

I have a small bubble upfront on the armrest as well. I thought it was a piece of dirt at first so I picked it off, and underneath was white plastic. Hopefully it won't get worse.

well mainly because it wasnt just that chrome area where u have that cover in the pic , but it was the whole area around it , the whole plastic part was looking bad. so that chrome would only cover a small area. but its all fixed now. thank very much though...
