Anyone removed this?

I think someone posted about using a heat gun or hair dryer to heat them up and remove. Don't recall if they had good results or not. There may have been some kind of residue left behind. Haven't done it myself - honestly I forget they are there.

2014 E550-sold 😩
I don't think you can totally remove the signs of it having been there, so why do it?

Yeah, it's not a big deal. But after all these years of driving I really don't need to be reminded there is an airbag on the driver and passenger side of the car. It's just something that bugs me if I look at my car when the sun visor is down. Perhaps hitting it with upholstery dye? I don't know. If I come up with something reasonable I'll share it with the group.

I did, off the driver's side. Like an hour picking at it with my fingernail.
You can't see any evidence of it ever being there.
I was gonna take a picture, but am embarrassed at how dirty the visor is after 94K miles.
Guess I should get this thing detailed.

Thanks for sharing the video. It does look easy. But am I the only one who can see the outline/shadow of the old sticker? Maybe that evens out over time. I guess you can say that the outline looks better than the sticker.

2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Never even noticed it was there. Although half the gadgets in the car I do not know how to work them. I just use the basics. Rarely even turn on the radio. Lost 80% of my high tones in the military. Music just comes out blurred. Have to figure out a way to stop getting older and reverse the process.

I had my visor replaced under warranty because it was getting "floppy" about 1.5 inches droop when at full deployment towards the windshield. The replacement came in with no stickers applied.

Peeled mine off
Yes I can see a vague outline, but it's better than the disintegrating sticker
Just carefully peeled with fingers then sort of scrubbed off little pieces gently with a clean old toothbrush, then wiped off with damp microfiber towel.
the little rectangles of slight discoloration are less noticeable than blotchy yellow and white.
