2014 E350 4Matic
Transmission shudder then clunk -anybody else?

I have a 2014 E350 4Matic that when under mild acceleration/low RPM the transmission shudders, somethimes one quick one somethimes 3-4 in succession, then clunks harshly into gear. This happens when downshifting from 7th to either 6th or 5th gear or from 6th to 5th. The car has been into the dealership 6 times, replaced the torque converter solenoid, multiple reprograms, software updates, electrohydraulic controller. When I get it back from repair it does seem OK, but the problem reappears soon. Going back to shop Monday for the 7th time.
MB corporate opened up a case last time it was in to look at a buy back but declined to do so. Instead they extended the warranty to 5yr/75,000 miles, which does help.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so what's your story. Has it been resolved and how.
Thanks to all.
