E55 Cylinder heads FS worked by Livernois Motorsports!

I sent these heads to Livernois Motorsports in MI for a little work! I have decided to keep the car semi-stock, and build a different car. So these heads are going up for sale. Anyone in the domestic world knows who Livernois is, and knows their quality is second to none.

Livernois disassembled, and cleaned the heads. Performed a full inspection. They then performed their competition valve job. All short radius bends were hand ported. The cylinder heads were then assembled with new valve stem seals. All installed heights were measured before, and retained with the valve job to insure flawless function.

In their professional opinion porting the heads for volume is not necessary. The porting they did is the most important part of any port work. This is from their engineer performing the work.

I have not installed the cylinder heads since the work was performed.

This sale will include:
Brand new OEM cylinder head gaskets
Brand new OEM cylinder head bolts
Brand new OEM cam bridge bolts
Brand new OEM oil filter housing gasket
Brand new OEM oil cooler line o-rings
1 tube of MB 5900 sealant
1 can of sealant removal spray
1 can of surface prep spray
Worked cylinder heads with the cam bridges

I am looking for $3000 shipped for the cylinder heads, and all other listed components. PM me for pictures at this time with your phone number, and I will text them to you. I will get some photos posted soon.

Thanks
Nolan

They did a competition valve job, and ported all of the short radius bends. The short radius bends are just above the valves. This is the most important part of any cylinder head porting. They did not port for volume..ie.. enlarge the intake/exhaust ports where the gaskets will mate up. They did not feel as though the gains were going to be substantial enough to worry about going any further.

I concur, but unfortunately it will not be on my car. They are genius when it comes to cylinder heads. I have see an 80 HP difference between just their cylinder heads alone on LS engines. That is why I contacted them to do these heads for me.

Do we have any reasonable idea of estimating HP gains with adding these heads to, say, a FBO E55? Are we talking 20WHP or like 60? Trying to justify the cost here...above and beyond having a brand new set of heads and gaskets, etc.

I wish I had some numbers for you. I would speculate that it would be in the range of 25-45, but this is just speculation.

+1. i would speculate a smoother power band up to redline.

Just thought of a question ; what was your goal when you had these done?

Thanks,

TK

I set out trying to build a monster! I contacted about 50 custom camshaft grinding companies to build me some cams. I could not get a single one to take me up on my build. That was one aspect of the build.

The cylinder heads were going to have any work done needed to compliment the new cams. When the cams fell through. I had Livernois Motorsports do what they saw fit for the stock camshafts. Which is what we have here for sale. I planned on running a 74mm FSP along with a 168mm CP. I wanted to make sure that all of the components were going to work together well.

These heads should certainly out perform any stock cylinder heads in many areas. Smoothness, intake air movement, and scavenging should all be well above stock.
