Modded C350 in Germany, how strict are they?
I'm USAF about to be stationed at Ramstein in a few months, and I'm bringing my C350 with me. Right now it's 100% stock, but I really want to do some simple mods, like blacking out the inside of the headlights, the grill, changing the bumper markers to clear, etc. I know with window tint for starters, you can't have your fronts done at all.
I've read Germany is quite strict on ANY modifications done to cars, and anything you do has to have a TUV certification. When it comes to simple mods like the ones I am looking into, will I run into any issues when getting my car inspected/registered? I don't want to take a bunch of time right now doing a bunch of mods that will prevent me from driving my car when I get it over there.
