Here's a video I found of the Sindelfingen Plant tour. I for one am looking forward to taking the tour when we pick up our new GLC this year. Hope you enjoy the video.

We did the tour in Sept. 2015. We toured the S-class body shop - they had the new, yet to be officially debuted S-convertible in shell form at the entrance to the shop. We left there and watched the final assembly of the S-class coupes & sedans.
They had the new 2017 E-class test mules out on the test track under camouflage ("No photos allowed!").
I noticed in the video they had an E-cabriolet (minute marker 5:21) but the E-cabriolets are not assembled in Sindelfingen.

I did a little research and found that there is a factory tour available in Breman. It appears that there are English tours available on Fridays throughout most of the year. Since the GLC is built there, and that Breman is located only about an hour's drive from my friend's home in Wallenhorst, I think the Breman tour should be on my "things to do" list for this year's trip. Also, in Breman, is a tour of the Beck's Brewery. The old part of town looks very nice as well. I think a very nice day could be had there. I'm getting stoked!

Just FYI - I learned today that the two (10:30 and 12:30pm) tours are actually different. I noticed a reference to them having different lengths when I received my collection of PDF so I emailed the MB ED team. Here is their response:
I'm a factory tour junky, so I'm planning to attend both. Also, there is a 3rd AMG factory tour that my SA at the dealership is trying to get me into.
The first tour (at 10:30am) visits the area where the vehicles are assembled. The second tour (at 12:30pm) takes a little longer as it visits two different areas (robot assembly and production assembly). The tours are free of charge so you are more than welcome to attend both.

Thanks Cliff..., that's great information. I've only done two factory tours, both BMW plants. The first was in Dingolfing where my E60 was built, the other was the plant in Munich. I enjoyed both tours. I'm not sure we'll have time for the second tour in Sindelfingen. We've got to be in Hanover that night.
