I can't say that I'm the organizer, but one of the many organizers. We started this on the Acurazine forum and it was a success last year. This one should be even bigger since we have more time to spread the word. Right now there are over 110 people signed up across the forums and that doesn't include the friends people are bringing.

Can you post the link to that thread? I want to keep a tally on all the forums that have been notified so that I can make sure the thread doesn't get lost. Thanks!

*** IMPORTANT LOCATION UPDATE ***

New Location: Cochituate State Park in Framingham, MA (Replacement for Hopkinton State Park and the next town over from Hopkinton (Framingham), so it shouldn't be a big deal)
Date: Sunday, April 23rd
Time: 11-4pm (But some of us will be there by 10am to get prime parking)
Info: Still BBQ, still great people, and still great cars (over 180 have signed up and not including the friends they are bringing along)

Also, the main entrance will be closed....to enter the park we have to go thru the 'boat loading' entrance..this will lead to the main parking lot that we will be using

Directions: Cochituate State Park is located in the greater Boston area in eastern Massachusetts.

From East or West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 13, Rte. 30 east. Park is on the right.

From Mass Pike: Take the Mass Turnpike (Rt. I-90) to Exit 13 to Rt. 30 East. The park is ½ mile down on the on the right.

From Route 9: Follow Route 9 East or West to the Speen Street exit in Framingham. Go North on Speen Street. Follow Speen Street for 1 mile until you come to Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. Park is 200 yards down on the right hand side.

*** NOTE: Please be respectful of the area and DO NOT draw unnecessary attention to yourself by doing burnouts, revving the engine, etcc...We do not want to ruin it for everyone and get kicked out because one lousy idiot decided to "show off". Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone***

It is rain or shine. The forecast calls for rain, but its sporadic showers and not constant downpours, so we should be good to go.

Remember that you have to enter the boat entrance and not the main gate because its still closed. The park is open though and it is legal to go thru the boat entrance. This is perfect because it'll keep other people out thinking that the park is closed.

I have also told everyone to be respectful, so please don't be an idiot out there. Thanks guys and see everyone soon!

btw. I'll be in the Black Acura TSX...asian dude.

Here are some more info for Sunday:

Weatherwise should be ok:

Sunday - Clouds lower and thicken. Showers arriving from west to east in the afternoon. Steadier/heavier Worcester County through late afternoon. Still cool with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Here are two detailed maps:

Remember to enter the Boat Entrance and not the Main Entrance:

I would try to get there as early as 11 as can be. I know some of us are going to get there a little before 11. Hope to see everyone there!
