G-wagen upgrade
I've seen quite a few G-wagen's being updated to look like the current models in terms of of body styling and other exterior trim
is there any upgrade for the interior of the G-wagens? i realize that it would not be possible to have it totally updated but just wondering if there was anyone offering some sort of interior update kits.

Actualy this is probably the best way. But couple of risks and issues.
1- Costs are very high and I need a OEM to be cheaper solution.
2- I am not sure if these parts can fit in to earlier models? I am not sure f the dimensions of 2010 interior vs 2000 are the same?
that is why I am more after a know-how regarding this upgrade

2008 S63 AMG, 2006 G500
I do not think you can upgrade MY2000 to MY2008-MY2010. Maybe if you had MY2002 and up G-class it would be a bit easier to upgrade command, dashboard and etc.
As for exterior, it's easier.
Wheels
Headlights
Foglights
Tail lights
Grille
All those parts you can get online (eBay, fourbyfourclub and etc)

Hi. Does anyone have older style tail lights that are in good condition for sale? 1990-2007.
Those who have updated their tail lights to 2008+ are perfect candidates. :-)

Yep, it can be done, seen a few really old G's with newer dashboards and everything, just need someone who is willing to do it and splice through the wires, other than that just get a new dashboard along with the ECU and the harness for the whole comand system and other buttons and just transplant it into your car. Exterior is easy, they're famous here in Dubai, we have a lot of businesses and shops who update G's (ranging from 1980-2012). I myself updated my car to the newest model, exterior is very very easy. The interior is really annoying as I'm trying myself and I'm doing a lot of research but with no result.
