Hello G-Wag Folks,
I sold my 08 cls63 6 months ago due to hectic travel schedule and am in the market now for a new 3 pointed star. I have always wanted a G-Wag....I have been looking for a white one and found the below:

I always loved the white...anyway here is my question:
If you take a look at the CARFAX it shows it was a commercial vehicle the last couple years, as well as a good amount of service completed on it like:
-Brake booster replaced
-Brake light switch replaced
-Door trim panel replaced
-Evaporative emissions vent purge valve replaced
-Door trim panel replaced
-Window regulator replaced
etc...

Is this a typical maintenance type schedule issues? Or is this car asking for trouble? Price seems fair.

That is a G500, not a G500 GE.

There was a special limited edition 500GE sold in 1993. Only 500 were built and sold.

The G500 was introduced in Europe in 1998, and finally sold through official channels in the US in 2002.

Regarding the commercial registration, I would assume this was done for tax purposes? As far as the services completed, I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Should you decide to move forward on this one or any other I suggest you obtain a pre-purchase inspection from a qualified mechanic who has experience with the G-Class.

For the MY05 only MBUSA offered the optional G500 and G55 Grand Edition aka GE.
