??? steering shaft boot ???

Hello,

I have a torn steering shaft boot on my 2002 G500, so I got a new one from the wonderful Vlad and this has to be an easy job but before I try and tackle it I just wanted to make sure. The stealership said it would take 3 hours and that I just cant believe. If anyone has ever done this before or if you can shoot me any advise I would more than appreciate it. THANKS

This has been discussed on another forum. You basically need to remove the steering wheel and everything in the dash preventing access to the column. Three hours sounds light to me.
