G55 Side Exhaust Adapter Kit for standard G500

G-wagenaccessories.com introduces the all new G55 Exhaust Adapter for the use on the 2002+ Mercedes-Benz G-500 LWB Geländewagen.
This All Stainless Steel Adapter kit, exclusively designed by Karl Volger of G-wagenaccessories.com, it allows the installation of the Mercedes-Benz OEM exhaust mufflers from G550, AMG G55 or AMG G63 vehicles onto the stock Mercedes-Benz G-500 from 2002 on. This will give the G-500 a truly dual exhaust system as found on the later or the AMG G-wagen models. CNC machined from 304 stainless steel, with a 1/2" thick stainless steel connection flange, professionally digitized for correct shape and mountings, this sleek bolt-on adapter kit will replace the OEM resonator units and the center muffler in the 2002 + G-Class G-500's, with the AMG right and left side performance exhausts.

G500 with G63 Exhaust using Custom Exhaust Adapter

Karl from g-wagenaccessories came and saved the day. I was really hesitant of doing a permanent weld and wanted to have an OEM look with the ability to fix anything if needed in the future. He designed a custom exhaust adapter that is a perfect fit for the G63 Exhaust that I purchased. The adapter is made of heavy duty stainless steel and gave me the ability to install it with ease.

All you have to do is measure the length of the new mufflers and where they exit from the side and then cut the exhaust pipe after the 2nd cat, clean the surface of the existing pipe where the cut was made. Slip on the adapter over the opening and then tighten the T-Bolt clamp.
Now the best part, the rest is basically an OEM installation. The other end is a perfect flange and goes right into the G63 mufflers. Tighten with the 3 bolts from the adapter to the exhaust and its DONE!

I'm glad you had it easy now, completing the task on hand.

How did you like the sound from those four exhaust pipes?

I shall have a simplified rear exhaust support hanger, for those G55, G63 and G550 mufflers - saving a chunk of money compared to the OEM hanger.
