2013 G550 Exhaust AMG conversion
So I just picked up a 2013 G550, and noticed that it has the side exhaust pipes sort of like the AMGs, but without the exposed tips. Is there a part or kit available to add the AMG tips? Or do you need to buy the whole exhaust, I have seen a few on ebay for around 2k, but wondering if there's a cheaper method.
TIA

Here is what you need to make G63 mufflers fit on your G550,

That adapter is for a G500, not a G550. Different stock exhaust configurations.
I think the OP just wants chrome or stainless exhaust tips. Which should be available from virtually any source.

Yeah I think that's for the older ones, my model already has the dual exhaust system on each side of the car, just trying to get the exposed tip look like the AMGs. I found some tips on eBay, but was hoping for a better, hopefully OEM, option if anyone were aware of such.

If you just changing the tips you won't need this adapter but if you want to change to G63 mufflers you will need this.

The exhaust system for the G550 is the same as the G500. If you look it up on the Mercedes EPC, the diagram shows how the exhaust for a G550 is laid out.
If you want the sound and look of the AMG Exhaust your best option is a pair of those adapters and a set of OEM AMG Mufflers.
There are those who weld the mufflers to the existing exhaust pipes but that is not a very good idea, incase you need to repair something.
Below is a link on how the adapters and AMG Exhausts are installed.

I can tell you that they are not the same. There is no crossover point in the exhaust. Each cylinder bank has their own independent exhaust system then ends in a dual tip muffler on the outer side of each frame rail. See the pictures form my 2011 G550. That diagram is incorrect, it is probably just a generic exhaust diagram that MB continued to use for the G550.

From the pictures that KJ6IRM provided. The exhaust looks like it's laid out similar to the G63.
In that case, you should be able to just get the OEM AMG Mufflers with the tips and attach it at the flange.

I had my buddy weld on the eBay AMG "style" tips. $250 for the set of 4. Installation was super easy, and it looks great. They didn't angle them as aggressively as the AMGs, but I think it looks cool and doesn't look like I am just trying to knock off an AMG.
