Depreciation of g wagon vs range rover
I deciding between a new g wagon vs a new range rover.
Strictly from a depreciation value, which car do you believe will hold its value better (assume equal use) in say, five years?
I realize that right now range rovers are selling for MSRP and up and that used ones are going for nearly or if not more than used ones, but this is transient due to limited supply which is quickly correcting.
When I go on autotrade or visit dealer websites, the G wagons seem to hold their value ridiculously well. I see 2009's with 50k miles still selling for 75 k.

You got your answer in your last sentence. They will always hold their value better than Range Rovers unless we are talking about the Land Rover defender which in this case holds its value like the G or little better.
