Love my 2002 G 500. However outside of the drivetrain and suspension this is the worst, most problematic car I have ever owned. Just finished gluing the passenger mirror back on. The drivers side came off several months ago. In both cases the plastic back just deteriorated. Have replaced all four window regulators. Replaced both door sill transformers. Replaced the drivers side window and seat memory module. Had to repair the trailer hitch module. Now have the knocking noise from the heating system when first starting the car. My car just hit 36,000 miles. Have rust on the door hinges and in a couple of the seams. I have heard these are all common problems to my year. Shame on MB for producing such an inferior product. Who else would like to nominate the 2002 Gwagon for the square wheel award. I hope some one from MB sees this post. However still love the car.
