Brabus G-Wagen Truck: the Evolution of the G-Wagen
A few years ago, Mercedes was offering a G500 “Lang,” which essentially means long, which essentially means it was a pickup truck. Then the folks over at Brabus got their hands on one.

I'm a huge fan of German cars, but I agree with you regarding the style of this truck. My first thought when I looked at the side view was that it was "pieced" together. The next thought was that it looked like a stagecoach from the Old West with those wheels - and you're right, the rotor size to wheel size ratio doesn't help. I also think the pickup bed looks like an afterthought - the vertical space/line between the second door and the bed just doesn't look right or flow very well. It reminds me of a model-T pickup. I realize the G-wagon is not a "flowing lines" kind of vehicle (and I do like the look of the normal G - it has a "tough" appearance that no other vehicle matches), but this one looks a bit like an erector set put together by 6-year old.
