I have a Mercedes g 400 from 2005 and I can't found the aux, on my navigation I have The command for aux, does somebody know where it is?

The AUX on my G550 was in the glove box. There was a cable in there for the iPod connection, that cable also had a small headphone jack as well for the AUX input. Not sure if it's the same or similar on a 2005.

You have to install it. Do a search of the G boards and you will find a DIY. I added it to my '05. Inexpensive part from Mercedes. And you have to pull the radio and glove box to install.

I have an 05 and searched the forums. You were the on,y one with a 2005 that added an aux cable

The only thing I found was the 2002 part install from the glove box.

Is is that the same part you used?

was it a command unit removal and quick plug install or is it not worth doing?

any tips would help
