Military Green 2011 G55 new owner / Many Problems! Please Help!

Hey Guys,

Just picked up my 2011 G55 with 50k Miles on it Designo w/ Cinnamon interior! I love the car however I've been reading and it seems like they come with a ton of annoying little things. Mine seems to have all of them! If anyone can help I would truly appreciate it. BTW I did the whole G63 facelift the first week I bought it at my buddy's shop, didn't buy it like that.

First Problem:

At a full stop at a light my foot will be on the brakes and when i hit the throttle to accelerate it seems as if the RPM goes down for a second and starts to accelerate as if it's about to stall. It does that quite a few times in a day.

Second problem:

When I first start the car it sounds like somethings is connecting or some electrical sound and goes on for about a minute and completely goes away. Sounds like its connected to the radio or something but the radio is already working.

Third Problem: MY BIGGEST PROBLEM

A TON OF FREAKING SQUEAKS! OMG! SQUEAK SQUEAK all day over every little bump everything. I take it to a buddy's shop when i can and we put it on a jack stand and spray lubricant grease all over the suspension and exhaust rubbers and it stop squeaking for about 1-2 weeks at most but as soon as the car sees a drop of water the squeak starts again. Sounds like a rubber on metal loud squeak. I have taken it to two mechanics they cant seem to figure it out. The rear door use to squeak i lubed that up and all the squeaking stopped from the door but the rest of the car just squeaks soo loud. I first thought it was the hood but i fixed the rubber bumps stops or whatever you call it and that didn't help.

Fourth Problem:

When I'm at a full stop or just stopped while being in Drive or Reverse only it doesn't do it in park it sounds like a rattling of some sort as if my cat or exhaust is rattling. I took it to a shop and they said that's just your 4WD going into action which is complete BS there's no way.

Fifth Problem:

When the A/C is on sometimes I hear a whistling or some sort which I haven't checked out at the mechanic but its getting annoying but as soon as I turn the A/C off it stops.

Sixth Problem:

Sounds like a LOUD whistling coming from the pillar or door or something at speed 60+ MPH I think someone mentioned it might be from the door gap and they sell a rubber door lock which stops the sound that comes on the G63?

That's about it lol

Please help me you guys

Thank You
Edwin

I wish I could tell you something productive but it sounds like you got a bad one. The good thing is that most of this stuff can be fixed with enough time and money. I have had 4 G63's and only one was a lemon. I love these trucks and I hope you can get past this and enjoy yours!

Are you sure the squeaks arent coming from the rear hatch? Thats a known problem which is easily fixed by a little application of wunderlube to the rubber and latch parts. http://fourbyfourclub.com/W463Tools/...iconePaste.htm

I have random ticking noises sometimes that sound like they come from behind the radio. Almost like when a computer fan is clicking against a stray wire, so if you figure that one out let me know. If I hit a bump they seem to go away.

Are you sure your window regulator/tracks arent failing? Your window track could be slightly off, which would cause that whistling sound.

Check if all is tightly bolted on where the body is screwed on to the farme. My mechanic told me that it gets loose sometimes and causes all kinds of noises. Hope it helps. I too had a G63 lemon but went ahead and gotten another one.

The ride looks sharp!

In regards to the problem #4. Try and see if the rattling sound is coming from the rear. I had a similar issue with rattling coming from the cannister valve of the fuel system. It is located inside the rear passenger fender. In my case it would only rattle at low RPM, around 1500-1800, usually when accelerating after stopping, for example at a street light.

My mechanic wrapped the fuel hoses coming to and from the cannister valve in soft insulation material, and I believe he remounted the valve itself a little tighter. That helped to almost remove the rattling sound, I still get slight rattling occasionally but it can be barely heard.
